Spending a beautiful summer evening on the Boise River doing a little fishing, wading, and just plain old enjoying the day. The fish weren’t cooperating as much as I would have liked, but that’s just the way it goes sometimes. Did have a good time though… stick around for the end and I think you’ll agree 😉

  1. I like all your catfish videos. I would like to visit Idaho and fish for these great looking cats.

  2. Wow! This is beautiful! This is my kind of evening! Hey guys, you should look up Kony 2012, then you'll have two amazing videos in your life, this and Kony 2012! Nice job on the video and it's a beautiful location!

  3. @SoulSurvivorX2 Well… since I'm a little late replying to your comment here, you'll have to let me know how the fishin' was LOL.
Seriously though, thanks for the very kind comments man! And you're absolutely right, the Boise river is an amazingly beautiful waterway to spend time on… whether it's fishing, watching wildlife, hiking, or whatever… it's always great. What's even better is that it's only a few minutes away 😉

  4. @mrriprock2 Thanks my friend 🙂 Hopefully it cools off soon for ya! I think the humidity over your way would just about do me in 🙁

  5. @Ggreenvideos Thanks Rich! It was definitely a nice time, that's for sure. Of course if you ask me, any time near the water is a good time!
So you've heard of us down here huh? Let me guess… it's those damn potatoes isn't it? Haha!

  6. @ihikearoundcom It's definitely one of my favorite ways to spend an evening, that's for sure. Honestly, when the water is low like that, you really can't go wrong with whatever method you use… whether it's fly, bait, or spin fishing. The fish are pretty much forced into certain locations by the low water level. If you find the deeper pools (especially if they have some type of cover) then you're apt to find the fish. Unless you're focusing too much on videotaping that is LOL.

  7. @meatmangary I know huh! That poor little camera has come close to taking a swim many times now lol. Thanks Brother!

  8. @saradreaming ROFLMAO!!! Thanks for the best laugh I've had all day Sara! I have got to remember that line the next time I get caught!

  9. @ez2curanut I'm in 100% agreement my friend! And I've had some pretty bad days of fishing too haha!

  10. @CrazyTaileZ I agree man, it's awesome being this close to everything that I love! It's kinda funny, this spot was the same place where I was catching those big ol' rainbows recently… and this time I got almost totally skunked! Think I'm losing my touch Bro! LOL
P.S. Thanks for the thumbs up on the outtakes… I almost didn't include them 😉

  11. @Reallybigmonkey1 Thanks Bro! I agree with you 100% man. Give me an old pair of shoes, a pair of shorts, and my fishing pole… and I'll gladly spend all day walking the river! I don't know about you, but it really heightens my sense of nature to be immersed (literally lol) in it like that. Hope all's going great in your neck of the woods my friend! Thanks for stopping by 🙂

  12. @3cats2kids1love Hello my friend! 🙂
Thank you so much for your kind and gracious words! You are such a generous soul! I hope life is going very well for you and you are having a great start to your week! Best wishes 🙂

  13. @IdahoJourneys I know exactly what you mean! When I first started doing videos I was VERY self conscious (even when alone lol), I would get really anxious in front of that silly little camera. I couldn't fathom doing it in front of people! Now it's just something I do, if that makes sense. Not to mention that it's really funny to see the looks on some peoples faces when they come across you talking to yourself LOL.
P.S. Thank you so much for your kind words & compliments my friend!

  14. Awesome video. Makes me want to skip out on work today and go fishin'… nothing like the great outdoors. Looks like a great river to spend time on. Love the out takes

  15. Just wished it weren't so darn hot here in NC. Would love to get out fishing and catch nothing, so it's enjoyable watching someone else get out. Nice vid as always…Dash Riprock

  16. thanks for taking us along

  17. Looked like tons of fun… Glad you showed us what you were using…thought you need to use a fly pole when the water is shallow? (do not know much about river fishing)

  18. Hope that cameras waterproof lol ya never know :] Another Great video…….

  19. Hi John, Very nice evening of fishing. I liked how your crossing the river with pole and in hand and camera in the other – just a little suspense there…. : ) And don't you just hate getting caught talking to your camera? Maybe next time you can try, "… And this is John reporting live, back to you Barbara." : D

  20. You have some great spots to go hiking- fishing – wading there Brother. That deep hole you were showing us looks like a great hangout spot for trout. Liked the sunset silhouette action at the end there too, beautiful. Thumbs Up on those outtakes! LOL

  21. Nothing beats wading, I'd much rather be wading than in a boat. Good video Brother.
