In this video, I show you one of the cheapest moisture absorbers you can use in your food storage or ammo storage. Moisture is a huge problem for long term storage especially with food, ammo and electronics. It’s readily available at most stores and you can certainly find it online. Best of all, this moisture absorber is dirt cheap. It’s a special kind of kitty litter made of only silica gel. Just like the desiccant packets you find in food.

This might be off-putting to some, but if you need a cheap way to keep moisture out of your survival rations, prevent ammo corrosion or just want one more tool in your bag, then this is worth learning about.

Please make sure that whatever you get is unscented, and the bag says the only ingredient is silica gel. You don’t want any nasty surprises later on down the road!
