In this video, I do an up close overview and setup of the Sea To Summit double pyramid Mosquito net. Find out more about this awesome piece of gear here!: http://amzn.to/1ip8ubR

This net came in quite handy for me on a recent trip to Kenya where malaria is a problem. It’s big enough for a couple to sleep next to each other and is quite breathable even though the netting is very fine.

Hi, what if there is no way to hang the net? I will stay in hotels, but I doubt I will be able to put a hook into the ceiling…

Looked like you were too tall for it because your legs were pushing up against the netting & they could bite you thru the netting.   How did your trip go?

  3. I thought these things were sealed. I had no idea you had to tuck it under. That, to me, is unacceptable. Is this the standard with these types of products?

,,,gonna get one, thanks man, good helpful demo.

  5. David can you give us an update as to the effectiveness of this bug net from your trip. Did it perform as expected or as advertised. Thank You I enjoyed this video.

  6. Man this is great, thanks for sharing! Where would I buy one of these?

  7. Looks good, but if you buy any reasonable two man tent, you can just erect the inner, which is mostly mesh, and is free-standing, so you don't need to set up under something so you can hang this up, and eliminates the need for a groundsheet, as the tent inner has a floor. And if the weather turns bad, put the fly sheet up.
    Cheers

  8. I carry a mosquito net on me as well. They are worth their weight in gold and you can fish for crawdads with them in a pinch. 🙂

  9. ASAP Silver Solution! It will combat the malaria virus. It has been proven by field tests in Africa.

  10. And STS now sells a 'Nano' net that's less than 5 oz., I can attest to it since I own one.  Unfortunately, I paid way too much for it a year ago, the price has come way down (good for everyone else).

  11. There is no link in the description to buy the net.

  12. Great review as always dude, am definitely adding this to my shopping list. Regards from here in London ~Peace~

  13. Cool David!  Thanks for the demo! Is it plenty big enough for two?

  14. Good video and information. I hate them bugs so going to look at one of these.
